Combing through the thoughts in my head this is August of 2020, what I originally went to paint was something in the likes of my usual line paintings but there was a voice in my head that pushed my brush in a different direction, I believe this piece birthed a new paint style for me, one less uniform but more emotional, something that I wouldn’t be able to understand until the following year.
